Our Mission

is simple:  "Provide an education to gain self- sufficiency."

Human trafficking is a real threat for many young adults in the Philippines.

Charity Ed Ph and Next Step Philippines provides the next steps needed to become a successful productive adult. Typical child sponsor sites do not provide much after an elementary or middle school education.

This fragile age of young adulthood is often the breeding grounds of septic acts of human trafficking, drug use, prostitution, and domestic workers cloaked as modern-day slavery.

This threat is widespread and prays on the fallen dreams of young adults who surmise to this toxic way of life when they have failed on their own dreams.

Life is a battlefield:

As though the problems of child labor are not sad enough there is an even more sinister plague preventing Philipinos from attending school – PROSTITUTION.  Child prostitution is real and is openly peddled in many popular tourist cities.

The Visayan Forum Foundation has established in 2002 that most of the children and young women sex-trafficked to Manila.  They are recruited from rural province areas in search of work and were assured jobs as domestic workers.

But in a significant number of these cases end up in the sex trade. [1]  The following is a startling fact.  According to the US government reports, the number of child sex slave victims in the Philippines range from 20,000 to 100,000, with foreign tourists, particularly other Asians, as they dominate exploit children for sex.[2]

Davao city has 3,000 government registered prostitute women serving the ever-growing population of sex exploitation.

Most surprisingly, The Philippine government reported and documented cases of children as young as 10 years old forced into child prostitution sex trade, in

Davao City, on the island of Mindanao.  Davao city has become a favorite of child sex offenders posing as tourists.[3]  It was estimated in the year of 1995, the Philippines was the country with the fourth-highest number of children forced int prostitution.[4]

Philippine authorities have identified an increase in child molesters traveling to the Philippines to participate in child prostitution. [5]

It is hard to believe that in 2007, they estimated to be 375,000 girls and young women in the sex trade in the Philippines.

The ages mostly range from 11 and 20, these are similar to the sex trade in Davao City, Mindanao Philippines [6.]

Traffickers of children into the sex trade routinely deceive children and their families about what will happen to them by promising them attractive jobs as domestic workers.

As a result, school and any future education become lost as these teens move to the falsehood propaganda and allure of money.
